1. Well, of course Swamp Water Films loves your work, Ivana <3 Doesn't "van der veen" mean "from the swamp" in Dutch?

     No not 100% but something close to it yes 😉
     I learned in history classes at school what it meant.
     “Veen” is a wet oxygen-depleted and sponge-like type of soil, which is made of vegetable material. It occurs in swamps. Dried it’s flammable and it’s known as “turf”.
     But I wouldn’t know what the English word is for it. Maybe “Peat”?

     • By gosh, you’re absolutely right. I looked it up. The word means “peat” and you’re “Ivana from the Peat Bog”. Ha! 😀 That’s a less-than-glamourous name in the translation, but it’s still exotically lovely in the Dutch 😉
